Guardian ShowerGuard® glass
ShowerGuard is a permanent protective layer bonded to the surface of the glass during manufacturing by Guardian Glass. It acts as a barrier against water, soap residue, humidity, and corrosion, so the glass stays clear and rinses clean with far less scrubbing. Because the protection is part of the glass itself, it doesn’t wear off. ShowerGuard comes with a limited lifetime warranty from Guardian.
Six Shield™ protective coating
Six Shield is a transparent, hydrophobic coating applied to both sides and the edges of your new glass. Water beads and runs off instead of drying into spots, which means fewer water marks, less dirt buildup, resistance to light scratches, and less need for harsh cleaners. Applied and maintained as directed, Six Shield provides up to 15 years of protection against visible corrosion. Six Shield is applied to new enclosures at the time of installation; it isn’t available as a treatment for existing shower glass.

Both keep your glass clear. ShowerGuard is the premium, permanent option with a lifetime manufacturer warranty; Six Shield is a cost-effective applied coating with long-term protection.
